UPDATE: 7:30AM – WEB APP COMING TODAY?
It’s widely expected the FIFA 17 Web App – allowing returning FIFA players to trade and make up some FIFA coins for their new FIFA Ultimate Team – will launch at some stage later today.

Some believe 6PM UK Time, though there’s no official word from EA to verify this.
A German EA Sports community manager explained yesterday to fans that it was very likely that the FIFA 17 Web App would go live later today.

The rough translation reads: “Hi Firat, the web app is probably coming tomorrow. We will let you know when it is online. More news about it then of course.” Stay tuned for more info as soon as it goes live, as well as more details on how to get started when the FIFA 17 Web App is available to use.

UPDATE 1:40AM
Rumours of a possible midnight FIFA 17 Web app launch appear to have been put to rest as there’s still no sign of the release for the hotly anticipated Ultimate Team companion.
As previously suggested, we could be looking at an update at some stage later today (September 20th).
You can rest assured that when we do, Daily Star will be sure to update FIFA fans the moment it does go live.
UPDATE: 10.20PM – FIFA 17 WEB APP UPDATE DUE AT MIDNIGHT?

There’s still no word on the FIFA 17 web app.
Some eager FIFA 17 fans have suggested it could happen as soon as midnight tonight.
But the German Facebook page for EA Sports FIFA page may have given some insight into when we can expect to see the all important Ultimate Team Web App released. According to reports and screen captures on Twitter the EA Sports FIFA Facebook page for Germany replied to a question asking when the app would launch and told the fan in question it would be released “Morgen” – which roughly translates to “tomorrow” in English. So without still knowing a precise time, it looks as though EA Sports could finally release the Web App tomorrow, September 20th.

UPDATE: 4.20PM – FIFA WEB APP UPDATE
Talking to The Daily Express, an EA Sports spokespersonhas confirmed that the FIFA 17 Web App would go live this week, but failed to share a specific date for the launch of FIFA 17’s Ultimate Team companion app.
A comment given to the Express from EA, said: “It’ll be this week but we have no specific date.”

ORIGINAL STORY
Although PES 2017 is already out and enjoying a healthy second place in the charts behind the remastered Bioshock Collection, FIFA 17 gamers are still waiting for the full release of the game, following a successful FIFA 17 demo launch last week. But the question on every FIFA Ultimate Team player right now is when the the new FIFA 17 Web App will go live, and most FIFA fan sites believe it will be at some point later today, if not deffinately tomorrow.

Most sites believe this to be true because it would follow the rough release date times for the games web app in previous years. Fot those curious the FIFA 17 Web App is effectively a pre-season for FIFA Ultimate Team players.

To access the FIFA 17 Web App, simply head over to the official site to get started. For those wondering, the FIFA 17 release date for North America is September 27.

Those of us in the UK however will have to wait two more days until September 29 to access the game on Origin for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. That is, unless, you know about EA Sport’s other way of starting the game early, through EA Access. EA Access members on Xbox One and PC can try out the FIFA 17 experience before it’s released on September 22 (this Thursday) with a 10-hour Play First Trial.

Those pondering whether to give it a go, should also note that EA Access costs £3.99 per month, or a one of payment of £19.99 for the full year. EA Access members also receive a 10 percent discount when they purchase a digital version of the game on Xbox Live, and Origin Access members get a 10 percent discount when they purchase the game through Origin.
